Project Highlight: NASA Postdoctoral Program
The NASA Postdoctoral Program (NPP) supports some of the brightest and most promising scientists from around the world as they begin their professional careers. The program offers unique research opportunities to highly talented national and international individuals who serve at NASA headquarters or other agency facilities. These one- to three-year appointments are highly competitive and designed to advance NASA's mission and the vision for space exploration.
ORAU won the highly competitive bid to manage and administer this program for NASA in late 2005. Under a five-year, $200 million contract, ORAU is doing what we do best: providing the infrastructure to facilitate meaningful professional experiences for program participants.
We are applying our established methods to recruit, screen, evaluate, recommend, place, and pay stipends to postdoctoral associates at NASA's 11 flight labs and space centers or at agency headquarters in Washington.
