Nomination Period Opens for Graduate Student Awards to Attend Meeting of Nobel Laureates in Lindau, Germany
ORAU is sponsoring 10 students from its member institutions to attend the 57th Annual Meeting of Nobel Laureates in Lindau, Germany, July 1-6, 2007.
Each ORAU member university councilor may nominate one additional student for consideration. Those chosen will join a delegation of 40 U.S. students sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy and National Science Foundation.
Nominated students must:
- Have completed (by September 2007) two years, but not more than three years, toward a doctoral degree in physiology or medicine or a related discipline.
- Be a U.S. citizen.
- Be currently enrolled at a university as a full-time graduate student.
- Be participating in a research project funded by the U.S. Department of Energy, National Science Foundation, or other federal agency.

All nominations must be received by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 28, 2007. Students selected for this program will be notified by March 15, 2007.
