Challenging research opportunities exist in information science, including signal processing for communications, sensing, perception, and distributed networked systems with mobility and control.  Specific opportunities exist in (i) advanced Bayesian methods for communications and sensor networking, such as factor graph estimation, and (ii) collaboration and information transfer in collaborative small robotic teams.
