ORAU and its Partners Provide Support to National Supplemental Sceening Program

In 2005, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) appointed Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU), Comprehensive Health Services, Inc. (CHS), National Jewish Health and Occupational Health Link (OHL) to spearhead the National Supplemental Screening Program for former DOE workers.

The ORAU team is responsible for:

• contacting former employees and scheduling them for medical examinations,
• providing supplemental care in some instances, and
• providing the employee with their medical results, as well as recommendations for next steps over the next five years.

CHS has the ability to reach employees across the country due to its extensive network coverage.
