Research and Development of Image Processing for Enhanced Task Performance

Opportunities exist in the research and development of image processing algorithms from a multi-disciplinary approach. Of particular interest is the development of metrics and techniques that aid, and potentially improve, human performance tasks.  Results from human factor studies will be used in the generation of these techniques and methods. Data from various sensors and spectral ranges are to be considered.  Human visual processing is also factored into the development of the algorithms, techniques, and methods.
