The following areas of research are of interest to this program: (1) theory of optical properties of semiconductor quantum dots, (2) non-equilibrium dynamics of photo-excited carriers in wide-band-gap semiconductors, and (3) dephasing of optically excited quantum states in semiconductor heterostructures.
