Intelligence Analyst 3

First and Second Shifts Available
 

PURPOSE:  To provide intelligence analysis support that involves the intelligence exploitation of evidence, including explosive devices and other material along with other available information to identify patterns, suspects, trends and other useful information to satisfy national intelligence priorities.
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
 
* Exploiting technical data from electronic and forensic examination of submitted evidence.
 
* Using classified systems and databases to record and analyze information.
 
* Managing the receipt of Intelligence Community products.
 
OTHER JOB DUTIES:
 
* Researching, compiling, evaluating, and integrating information in support of National Intelligence priorities.
 
* Providing quantitative and qualitative analyses, developing intelligence requirements, preparing reports and presentations, and drafting intelligence products.
 
* Performing activities to include: studies and assessments coordination; collection emphasis; biometric analysis and integration; data mining; knowledge extraction; and other analytic activities with other agencies and organizations.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree in Counterterrorism Intelligence Activities or related subject matter and five to seven years job related experience in anti-or counterterrorism intelligence activities required.  Directly related experience performing duties as described may substitute for the education requirement.  Higher level education beyond the bachelor's degree in the disciplines listed may substitute for the experience requirement.  Must have direct technical experience related to the analysis of forensic evidence.  Must have experience preparing reports and presentations for executive-level and multi-agency parties. Strong critical thinking and analytical skills necessary.  Must have strong organizational, oral and written presentation skills, as well as experience preparing reports and presentations for executive-level and multi-agency parties.  Must have experience with full suite of MS office products (including the ability to create and manage moderately complex relational databases).  Must be team-oriented and have both desire and ability to perform within a team of professionals.  Fundamental understanding of explosive devices, threat capabilities and trends in explosive device design desired. Must have a current Top Secret Security Clearance or the ability to be reinstated (current SI/TK clearance or ability to be reinstated a plus).
