Intelligence Analyst 4

PURPOSE:  To provide intelligence analysis support to  a multi-agency activity.  This position involves the intelligence exploitation of evidence, including explosive devices and other material along with other available information to identify and analyze  information to satisfy national intelligence priorities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Exploiting technical data from electronic and forensic examination of submitted evidence.  Incorporating examination results into planning, analyses, and problem solving methodologies involving an array of intelligence, law enforcement and military entities.  
Using classified systems and databases to record and analyze information.  Employing a full working knowledge of intelligence disciplines to assess validity and reliability of available information.  Using sound reasoning to identify information gaps and seek alternative information sources.
Overseeing the receipt of Intelligence Community products.  Identifying and enhancing liaison functions to maximize communication and knowledge to integrate intelligence information and reports.  
 
OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED:
Researching, compiling, evaluating, and integrating information in support of National Intelligence priorities. Independently initiating new research to expand operational capabilities while enhancing the integration of investigative, analytical, forensic, and technical findings.
Providing quantitative and qualitative analysis, developing intelligence requirements, preparing and briefing reports and presentations.  Producing finished intelligence products for use by operational components within the multi-agency intelligence, law enforcement, and military communities.
Coordinating studies and assessments; conducting biometric analysis and integration, mining data from various sources of information; and performing other analytic activities with a variety of  agencies and organizations.
Providing guidance for the work activities of other Intelligence Analysts.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Counterterrorism Intelligence Activities, Criminal Justice, International Affairs, Political Science or related subject matter and a minimum of eight years job related experience in anti or counterterrorism intelligence, criminal and/or terrorism investigations, or related military activities.  Directly related experience performing duties as described may substitute for the education requirement.  Higher level education beyond the bachelor's degree in the disciplines listed or specific experience related to explosive device forensics and/or analysis may substitute for the experience requirement.  Must have experience with full suite of MS office products and Intelligence related databases.  Must have exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills.  Experience constructing a wide array of all source intelligence products for diversified customers necessary.  Experience conducting senior and executive level briefings required. Must be team-oriented and have both desire and ability to perform within a team of professionals.  Superior organizational, oral and written presentation skills required.  Must have experience working in a multi-agency environment with both foreign and domestic partners.  Must have a fundamental understanding of explosive devices, electronics, threat capabilities and trends in explosive devices design.  Must have experience preparing reports and presentations for executive-level and multi-agency parties.  Must have direct technical experience related to the analysis/collection of forensic evidence, preferably involving explosive devices.  Must have a current Top Secret Security Clearance or the ability to be reinstated (ability to obtain and maintain SCI and pass polygraph if required).
