Even before he was announced as Oak Ridge Associated Universities’ (ORAU) 2010 Extreme Classroom Makeover winner, Mr. Haney understood the importance of technology in the classroom. The fifth-grade school teacher regularly incorporated a handful of technologies into his curriculum; however, it was a $25,000 boost from ORAU that ultimately transformed his technology toolbox into a full-blown educational arsenal.
