Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) is proud to invest in our local community. Our mission to advance education can be seen through these outreach activities as well.

We contribute to several local and national organizations by donating resources and our employees' time throughout the year. ORAU employees organize fundraising events, educational programs, supply drives for charitable organizations, and more.

Specific areas where we invest in our community include:

Pollard Technology Conference Center
ORAU’s state-of-the-art Pollard Technology Conference Center is available for community groups to use for speakers, events, meetings, or training. Read about the services offered, view maps and layouts, and find contact information for scheduling your next meeting or event.

Imagination Library
ORAU sponsors the Imagination Library, a Dolly Parton Dollywood Foundation project, promoting literacy in East Tennessee. ORAU provides books for all children in Anderson County, Tenn., from birth through age five. Learn more and register your child for this program.

Education Grants
ORAU offers education grants to support science and math education in Anderson County, Tenn., schools. Invitations to apply are extended in the spring and awards are made in August. Read about some of the projects and teachers who have won.
