Complimentary hotel rooms (room and tax only) are available for the first 50 registrants for this event at the Doubletree Hotel; however, only one complimentary room per institution will be available. Please indicate on the registration form if you would like for ORAU to reserve a hotel room for you. Within one week of submitting your registration, you will be notified with hotel reservation information if you are one of the first 50 registrants. All hotel reservations must be made by Friday, February 15, 2008.  After that date, the block of rooms will be released and reservations are subject to availability.

Transportation

For those traveling by air, the arrival destination is McGhee Tyson Airport in Knoxville/Alcoa, Tennessee. Transportation from the airport to the Doubletree Hotel is available through Executive Sedan and Limo. Reservations may be made by calling 1-800-432-7923; the one-way rate is approximately $45.

Area Information

Established in 1943 by the Federal Government, Oak Ridge, Tennessee is located in the valley between the Cumberland and Great Smoky Mountains.
