Because ORAU manages the contract for ORISE for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), it is easy for a new customer to initiate a project through DOE's Work for Others (WFO) program and get research appointments started quickly.
Once the project is in place, the sponsor then sends funding to DOE to support the research appointments planned. ORISE can provide detailed cost estimates for any academic level of participant, to include relocation, travel and/or health allowances, tuition and fees, materials and supplies or other possible costs.
ORISE will process all applications, award offers based on sponsor selections, and administering the appointment stipend and other payments.
