


Full-time one-year appointments are renewable up to three years; postdoc appointments are renewable up to four years. Students can participate fulltime or parttime as long as they meet eligibility requirements. Appointments for students can be during the summer or winter breaks, or during the academicic year.

The Army Environmental Command is the Armed Forces' premier environmental organization sustaining military readiness and communities. The primary mission is to lead and execute environmental programs and provide environmental expertise that enables Army training operations, acquisition and sustainable military communitites. The Environmental Management Participation Program for the U.S. Army Environmental Command (USAEC) provides opportunities to participate in USAEC on-going Environmental management projects at Army installations worldwide. Project areas include Environmental Compliance and Planning, Cultural Resources, Natural Resources, Range Management, Geographical Information Systems, and Environmental Technology Transfer. |
