ORISE Program Offers Postdoctoral Research Oportunities

Dr. Daniel J. Carson is a Research Participant at the Naval Health Research Center Detachment, Environmental Health Effects Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Shriner’s Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He holds a Bachelor's of Science (BS) in Chemistry from Miami University, and a Doctoral degree in Molecular and Developmental Biology from University of Cincinnati. His current research focuses on adverse immunological effects of various chemicals that military personnel and their families are exposed to.

Providing research for the U.S. Military via fellowship, Dr. Carson stated, "I never imagined how gratifying it would be to work for the U.S. Military. I want to help our soldiers and their families where possible, and this research is allowing me to do just that."
