ORAU Giving Campaign Raises Over $52,000 for Local Charities

OAK RIDGE, TENN — Deena Koper, director of Safeguards and Security (SGS), presents a check of $5,000 to Kathy Hunt of United Way of Anderson County. “We are so glad to give back to the community,” said Koper. The corporate gift was presented on behalf of SGS, which had 100 percent participation and the greatest increase (32 percent) in average donation or pledge. ORAU’s corporate gift and employee pledges to United Way and Community Shares, a nonprofit group that supports social change organizations in Tennessee, totaled more than $52,000.
