Toohey Named Treasurer of National Health Physics Society

Dr. Richard E. Toohey, director of Oak Ridge Associated Universities’ Dose Reconstruction Program for the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, was recently named treasurer of the national HPS.

Toohey’s responsibilities will include managing finances, assisting the President-Elect in preparing the annual budget, monitoring income and expenditures and chairing the Finance Committee.  He will serve as Treasurer-Elect in July 2003 and spend one year serving on the Finance Committee.  He will assume the role of Treasurer for a two-year term in July 2004.
