Dr. Bruce Bridges will speak on the topic “A Day On, Not A Day Off” in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Jan. 23, 3–4:30 p.m., in Pollard Auditorium, Oak Ridge, Tenn. A reception will follow.
A charismatic speaker and expert in history, geo-politics and multi-cultural systems, Bridges is a professor at North Carolina State University and conducts cultural awareness seminars and workshops. He has lectured in 30 states and Africa. He hosts two talk radio programs, is the author of two books, and was recently featured in an Arts and Entertainment Network Documentary, “A Dream of the South.”
The event is free and the public is invited to attend.
