ORAU/ORNL Host Dignitaries from Imperial College and Georgia Tech

Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) and Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) recently hosted representatives from Imperial College of London and the Georgia Institute of Technology.  Administrators from both universities were in town to explore opportunities to collaborate on major science initiatives.  Discussions focused on exploring partnership initiatives in the areas of materials science using the SNS, energy strategies for the future, climate change, and the application of protein science to systems biology.

Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) is a university consortium leveraging the scientific strength of 88 major research institutions to advance science and education by partnering with national laboratories, government agencies, and private industry.

 Imperial College is the first international member of the ORAU consortium.
