ORAU Ceremonies To Unveil Revamped Oak Ridge Conference Center and New Office Building

Tuesday, May 25 • 11:30 a.m. • Pollard Technology Conference Center • Oak Ridge

WHAT:  Oak Ridge Associated Universities will showcase the new Pollard Technology Conference Center, a $1.5 million project that is a joint partnership between the city of Oak Ridge and ORAU. The new Pollard Center will serve as Oak Ridge’s conference center and will host conferences and events for area businesses and organizations. The project was made possible by a $983,000 grant from the Small Business Administration secured by U.S. Congressman Zach Wamp in cooperation with the city of Oak Ridge.

NOTE:              On Wednesday, May 26, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held for the new $8.5 million ORAU Office Building at 4 p.m. The new facility is connected to Pollard Technology Conference Center. This ceremony will be open to the public and will be followed with tours of the Pollard Center and the new office building.
