ORAU Extends Mentor-Protégé Relationship to Local, Small Business
OAK RIDGE, Tenn.—On Tuesday, Oct. 4, Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) extended a Mentor-Protégé agreement to Integrated Solutions and Services, Inc., (ISS), a woman-owned, small business located in a HubZone in Knoxville, Tenn. ISS owner Vickie Dyer, ISS president Tom Jones and ORAU president Ron Townsend signed an agreement initiating a support relationship as provided under the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Mentor-Protégé program. ISS has been doing work with ORAU for the past year and supports several ORAU programs for both DOE and other government agencies.

ORAU is a university consortium leveraging the scientific strength of 91 major research institutions to advance science and education by partnering with national laboratories, government agencies, and private industry. ORAU manages the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education for the U.S. Department of Energy.
