ORAU Signs Contract with Partners Development for a New Center for Science Education

Facility Scheduled to Open in December 2008

Oak Ridge, Tenn.—ORAU officials announced today that they will contract with Partners Development of Knoxville, Tenn. (www.partnersinfo.com), to construct a new Center for Science Education on the ORAU main campus in Oak Ridge.

“This new center will serve as a visible focal point for the national science education programs that ORAU administers on behalf of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education,” said Townsend. “We worked with Partners Development in the construction of our last office building, which was opened in 2004, and we are excited to be partnering with this responsible and capable firm again for this latest project.”
