ORAU's 2007 Giving Campaign Wraps Up with Corporate Gift
OAK RIDGE, Tenn. – ORAU closed out its 2007 Giving Campaign this week by presenting a $15,000 corporate donation to United Way of Anderson County. The corporate gift is in addition to the $82,000 donated by ORAU employees. This year’s drive, themed “Giving—Humanity’s Greatest Technology” allowed employees to donate online for the first time, and saw 91% of ORAU employees participating in the campaign.
“We look for opportunities through which we can do the most good and best serve the community,” said ORAU President Ron Townsend. “United Way of Anderson County certainly provides us with that avenue and is a great advantage for those living and working in this area.”
