| The “Classmaster was a count rate meter produced by the Nuclear Instrument Chemical Corporation. In 1954, the company changed its name to Nuclear-Chicago. The classmaster came as part of a kit that was designed for classroom lecture demonstrations and laboratory exercises. The accessories that came with the unit are missing: a GM tube, a set of aluminum, lead and cardboard absorbers, scattering tubes, and a calibrated range fixture. | |||
