Scientific Peer Review program by the 2010 numbers:
* 81 projects (20% increase from 2009)
* 93 reviews
* 67 workshops
* 160 hotel contracts
* 1,984 travel orders
* 6,277 participants
The year 2010 proved to be one of tremendous growth for Oak Ridge Associated Universities’ (ORAU) Scientific Peer Review program, which saw a 20 percent increase in projects and a 30 percent jump in expenditures.
This achievement supports ORAU’s commitment to continuing to guide our customers in making the right investment decisions for their research dollars.
Through its customizable peer and merit review process, which includes independent reviewers from academia to industry, an experienced team of project managers and internally developed Web-based tools, ORAU delivers quality reviews—the best return on investment—to its clients.
