Previous SELAC Workshop:

Frontiers in Laboratory Astrophysics
June 26-27, 2003
The Georgia Center, University of Georgia, Athens, Georgia

The purpose of the workshop is to survey the laboratory astrophysics needs regarding present and upcoming NASA space astrophysics missions so that SELAC can strongly contribute to addressing them.

Three working groups will be formed:

  • UV/visible astrophysics
  • IR/submillimeter astrophysics
  • X-ray/EUV astrophysics

Two co-convenors for each working group will organize sessions to survey the field, note particular needs for NASA space missions, and assess and assign priorities.
