Miller named director of ORAU Talent Management

ORAU Human Resources Department promotes veteran staff member LaShanda Miller to new management role

OAK RIDGE, Tenn.—ORAU has announced the promotion of LaShanda Miller to director of talent management.

In her new role, Miller will manage and provide leadership for the talent management department, programs and staff, as well as develop and implement workforce restructuring strategies, plans, programs, and policies. Prior to her promotion, Miller served as manager of development and performance at ORAU.

“During her time here at ORAU, LaShanda consistently has proven her ability to positively contribute to the various projects and challenges she was assigned,” said Dan Standley, ORAU vice president of Human Resources. “Her skills and knowledge are a tremendous asset to our team.”

Miller has more than 11 years of experience in the field of human resources. Prior to joining ORAU, she worked as a customer specialist for Resource Optimization, Inc, a software company in Knoxville, Tenn. Miller earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in instructional technology from Mississippi State University.
