These are the kinds of questions that lead many people to the treasure trove of information found in the ORAU Radiation History Museum section of the ORAU website.
ORAU virtual professional development reaches teachers nationwide
Educators around the country had to make a huge pivot from the classroom to virtual learning this spring. ORAU’s K-12 STEM team had to follow suit with this summer’s teacher professional development programs. After having registration open for only one week, 330 teachers from 25 states and Canada have registered for these free workshops that take place on Zoom.

Contact tracing is a key part in helping public health officials better understand COVID-19, along with limiting its spread. While the process has been a highlight this global pandemic, it is not new. Freddy Gray, ORAU director of health preparedness and response and health communication, describes the process related to COVID-19 as "the ability to try to find out people that have been exposed to another person that is infected."
