The Department of Defense (DoD) is accepting applications for their 2025 Summer HBCU/MI Faculty Research Fellowship Program. This program, administered by Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU), aims to strengthen the collaboration between the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and STEM faculty affiliated with Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCU) and Minority Serving Institutions (MI).  Participation requires a commitment of ten consecutive weeks between May 1st and August 31st.  Fellows will receive a total stipend of $25,000 plus an allowance to cover costs incurred for research materials, supplies, or travel expenses.

Selected Faculty Fellows will participate in research relevant to the missions of DEVCOM Army Research Laboratory (ARL), DEVCOM Chemical and Biological Center (CBC), the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), or the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD).
