Meet the Host: Dr. Allissa Dillman

Dr. Allissa Dillman is the founder and CEO of BioData Sage LLC, specializing in integrating data science into biomedical and biological sciences. As Training and Engagement Director for the CFDE Training Center, she collaborates with industry, academia, government, and nonprofits to develop training programs on bioinformatics, cloud computing, and reproducible data science practices. She organizes community events like hackathons to address biomedical data challenges. With over 10 years of NIH experience and adjunct faculty status at Montgomery College, Dr. Dillman focuses on reducing barriers to data science and cloud computing. She holds a PhD in computational neuroscience from NIH and the Karolinska Institute, Sweden.
