Call for Proposals by March 18! Community-Sourced Omics Training Module Content
The Common Fund Data Ecosystem (CFDE) Training Center is excited to announce the release of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the development of Community-Sourced Omics Training Module Content. This initiative seeks to expand the scope of CFDE training offerings by inviting proposals to create high-quality, accessible, and collaborative training module content that leverages CFDE resources and datasets. Key Details:
- Submission Deadline: March 18, 2026, 11:59 p.m. Pacific Standard Time
- Funding Amount: Up to $5,000 per selected applicant (anticipated up to six awards)
- Project Period: April 13, 2026 – August 14, 2026
- Eligibility: Open to trainers, educators, researchers, and practitioners with expertise in omics-related fields, including graduate students and postdocs.
Proposal Focus Areas:
Proposals must align with CFDE principles and highlight at least two CFDE datasets within omics-related areas such as:
- Spatial Omics
- Multi-Omics
- Single-Cell Omics
- Genomics, Proteomics, Metabolomics, and more
Selected applicants will receive funding and access to CFDE resources and data to support training content development. For the purposes of this Request for Proposal, proposed training module content may include lessons, microlearnings, mini lessons, case studies, code notebooks, etc. Training module content will ultimately reside on a virtual learning platform, the CFDE Training Center e-Learning Dashboard.
