Wishes Granted: Finding Grants for Your Classroom (Virtual session)

Target Audience: K-12th Grade Teachers

Have you ever wondered how to write a grant proposal? Is it a task that just seems daunting or impossible with your current workload? Whether private or public school, there is money out there waiting for you!

This workshop will focus on common components to grant proposals.  It will also detail tips and tricks on how to stay organized and apply to multiple grants in a short period of time.  I will share how I spend just one weekend a year on writing grant proposals to fund innovation in my classroom, and how that strategy has helped me gain over $500k in funding over the past 11 years.

You will leave the session with ideas of grant proposal topics, an action plan, a list valuable resources, and a firm understanding of the steps you need to take to make your first grant proposals a success.
