ORAU offers free Math and Movement mini academies for rising first- through sixth-graders during June in Oak Ridge

ORAU will offer two free Math and Movement mini academies for elementary schools students during June in Oak Ridge.

Math and Movement is a curriculum designed to keep kids feeling good about math. During the mini-academies, elementary school students can practice valuable basic math skills while exercising their bodies as well as their minds. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. A waiting list will be available if the sessions get full.

Two mini-academies will be offered, for rising first- through third-graders and rising fourth- through sixth-graders, respectively.

Math and Movement for rising first- through third-graders will be held on Wednesday, June 28, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the classroom at ORAU, 100 ORAU Way in Oak Ridge.
