ORAU STEM Accelerator is a catalyst that strengthens America’s global leadership in STEM through convening and mobilizing a diverse network of academic, industry, non-profit, and government partners to address the toughest challenges in STEM education, research, and innovation.
To demonstrate our need to accelerate STEM activity across the nation, our nuclear energy industry is poised to provide robust and long-term solutions to climate crises. New and even safer designs for small, modular reactors will require technical workers to support fuel production, reactor construction and operation, spent fuel management, and safeguards and security. We must act quickly to ensure we can meet this workforce need.
