Collaborative hub for evaluation capacity building

Evaluators and practitioners in CS and STEM education need a single source for robust evaluation tools and professional development that would build evaluation capacity in a scalable, sustainable manner. The aims are to leverage existing knowledge and to connect networks into a larger professional community within evaluation. The Hub will be a professional one-stop home, and a community of practice, for professionals working across the fields of education and evaluation.

In this virtual space, education professionals such as K-12 teachers, out-of-school-time facilitators, project PIs, researchers, funders, and others will collaborate, build their own evaluation capacity, and uncover resources and opportunities for growth. Discussion forums and training opportunities will connect practitioners to peers and mentors, and curated collections of resources will meet the needs of various users. Ultimately, participation in the Hub will help practitioners assess the merits of specific evaluation practices and uncover ways to improve STEM education programs.
